FAQ

Questions from nursing home operators

01
Does OneCare handle MOH SRE-compliant incident reporting?
Yes, OneCare is the only local platform with built-in MOH SRE compliance. Incidents are captured with photo and video evidence, classified by severity, and auto-escalated to MOH for Serious Reportable Events. The system maintains a complete audit trail and generates trend analytics for internal quality reviews.
02
Can we manage multiple nursing homes on one platform?
Yes. OneCare supports multi-facility deployments with consolidated dashboards, cross-facility reporting, and per-facility access controls. Operators like MWS run over 12 facilities on a single instance with centralised oversight and local autonomy for each home.
03
How does OneCare handle the upcoming NRIC authentication changes?
OneCare's visitor and staff verification workflows are being updated ahead of the PDPC's 31 December 2026 deadline, which prohibits using NRIC numbers as authentication credentials. The system already supports alternative verification methods including QR codes and photo-based check-in.
04
Will OneCare integrate with NEHR?
Yes. Nursing homes fall in Batch 2 under the Health Information Act: key health information must be contributed to NEHR by September 2028. OneCare's Synapxe onboarding is underway, using national coding standards (SNOMED CT, Singapore Drug Dictionary) with a built-in submission engine. So contribution happens as part of daily documentation, not as a separate export. See our Health Information Act & NEHR guide for the full picture.
05
What training is needed for care staff?
Most care staff are operational within one to two guided sessions. OneCare is designed for frontline workers (e.g. large touch targets, minimal navigation, task-focused views). We provide train-the-trainer sessions and on-site support during or just before the first week of go-live.
06
Can OneCare replace our existing paper-based medication records?
Yes. The Medication Safety module covers prescription entry, dispensing, and RFID-verified administration using the 5 Rights framework. Every administration event is logged with a timestamp and staff ID, creating a per-resident audit trail that replaces paper MAR charts entirely.
